our story
We built the cup that actually makes sense.
Every woman deserves a better period. We built the tools to make that possible.
why we exist
Everyone knew cups were better. Nobody could figure out why they were so hard to start with.
Period cups have been around for decades. They're safer, cheaper, and infinitely more sustainable than tampons. The science is clear. The reviews speak for themselves.
But here's the truth nobody was saying out loud: the reason most women never tried one wasn't because they didn't want to. It was because sticking your fingers somewhere unfamiliar, on your first try, with no guidance, felt like a lot to ask.
That barrier β not education, not cost, not awareness β was the thing keeping millions of women on tampons they'd quietly outgrown.

how it started
The idea was simple. Cups are better. Insertion shouldn't be scary.
I'd been telling every friend who'd listen about menstrual cups for years. The cost savings. The waste. The freedom of 12 hours without thinking about your period. Most of them were curious.
But when I sent them the same cup I used, the follow-up was always the same: "I tried, but I couldn't figure out the insertion. It felt too weird." And that was that. Back to tampons.
I kept thinking: what if the cup had an applicator? Not a gimmick β a proper one that guided the cup into place the same way a tampon applicator does. Something that removed the learning curve without removing any of the benefits.
That was the beginning of Glide. A cup that works the way women already know how to use things.

what we believe
Better tools make better periods. It's that simple.
The Glide Kit isn't a compromise. It's not a "starter cup" or a tampon alternative with asterisks. It's a proper medical-grade cup β 100% body-safe silicone, BPA-free, built to last a decade β paired with an applicator that makes first-time insertion as straightforward as a tampon.
We don't cut corners on materials. We don't use cheap polymers. And we don't pretend periods are more complicated than they need to be.
One kit. Zero tampons. For years.
